I’m Vignesh, son of Mr. C. Jagan Mohan, proudly born and raised in the scenic Nilgiris.
Our family’s transport legacy began over 45 years ago when my grandfather, Mr. Chinnaswamy Pillai – a freedom fighter and visionary – served in Ooty’s first private bus service to Trichy under the name Gopal Transport.
Though those buses stopped when the service was nationalized, our passion for serving people never faded. In 2018, I revived that legacy through MRT Tours & Travels, a division of Maruti Traders – starting with just one car and a big dream.
Today, we operate a modern fleet of cars and tourist vans, driven by professionally trained hill drivers who know Ooty’s winding roads like no other. With safety, comfort, and local expertise at the heart of our service, we promise you not just a trip – but a memorable Nilgiris experience.
